Melamed Weight & Wellness

Denver, CO. 2020. Earlier this year, I worked with my friends at Shanty Town Design* to revamp the website for Melamed Weight and Wellness (MWW). MWW offers medical weight loss treatments, medical spa services, anti-aging aesthetics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. It’s kind of a one-stop shop for your wellness needs.

The project included roughly 15 pages of copy, ranging from simple staff bios to technical information about dietary testing, laser skin procedures, and medical weight loss. My main goal for MWW was simple, matter-of-fact copy. Because it’s their profession, sometimes doctors write about their services in a way, well, only doctors understand. I wanted to make the reader feel comfortable, empowered, and informed, and I wanted to make sure they didn’t need to search outside the site for additional information. My secondary goal was a cohesive voice and writing style. Something welcoming and easy to understand, but also scientific and trustworthy. When it comes to your exterior health, trust is big.
